Jan Dahlqvist is working all around the world. He has been shooting fashion in Miami, working in Africa for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, documenting London for a city guide. In Sweden he is making his art photo project, but also lots of commercial projects. He has portrayed many of Swedens celebrities, and also lots of foreign ones. After photographing several books about food he is well known by chefs in Swedish and abroad. In Sweden, Jan Dahlqvist has his own office and studio, Asfalt Communication, at Kungsholms Strand in Stockholm.

Jan Dahlqvist makes still photos in any format, such as 35 mm, 6x6, digital et cetera. He does product photography, documentary and report photography of people, food, products and fashion. He also produces film.

Jan Dahlqvist works togheter with Micael Blume in Asfalt Communication a company that produces film, documentary and advertisment, and does everything from initial idea to the complete product. Services including filming, script, storyboard, sound, lightning, editing, computer graphics and DVD mastering.
Asfalt Communication also produces books, magazines and webdesigns.
